In August, 2007, Sweet Sue was adopted, and brought to her new home in Irvine, California.
On December 21, 2007, Sweet Sue was attacked by another dog, and severely injured. The dead skin was trimmed & bandages changed twice a day until the 26th. On the evening of the 26th the wound was closed. The sutures were removed 12 days later.
It was over the holidays, and during the convalescence and recovery period, that Sweet Sue’s Cookie Mix was conceived and developed.
Sweet Sue died April 20, 2009 of spinal bone cancer. This site and this enterprise are dedicated to her memory, her indomitable spirit, her energy for life, her boundless curiosity, and sense of fun.
